Richard Boehmcke - Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach

Richard spent 15+ years working in customer success and operations at high-growth tech startups before realizing he wanted to focus on helping people. After watching colleagues struggle with burnout and overwhelm—especially during the pandemic—he decided to change his life. Richard is a Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach as well as a NASM-certified personal trainer. He specializes in helping busy professionals build sustainable habits around sleep, stress management, and work-life balance so they can show up as their best selves. When not coaching, Richard enjoys writing fiction.

Coaching may qualify as a reimbursable expense under your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) when provided for the treatment or prevention of a medical condition.

According to the CDC, 6 in 10 adults in the United States have a chronic disease. Conditions like heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and anxiety are often preventable and manageable through healthy lifestyle choices—exactly what health coaching addresses.

How it works: Consult your physician about whether health coaching is appropriate for your medical treatment plan. If recommended, request a Letter of Medical Necessity for your HSA/FSA claim submission. Contact your plan administrator for specific reimbursement instructions.
